Speaker Bio

Adero is the Founding and Managing Partner of Catalyze Capital (www.catalyze.capital), a boutique sustainable finance advisory firm that supports firms to invest in a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future. Adero has spent the last decade leading sustainability investment and advisory projects in Africa and has been involved in some of the African continent’s most impactful transactions. She has designed sustainability financing facilities which have provided much needed catalytic investment for sustainability-related projects in Africa. Adero’s experiences have enriched her with a proficiency in impact and gender lens investing as well as a deep understanding of the qualitative and quantitative ESG impacts of financial products.

Adero is the Co-Chair of 100 Women in Finance’s East Africa Committee. She is based in Nairobi.
