Speaker Bio

Dr. Charity Njoka

Charity Njoka is a lecturer of Finance and Accounting at Kenyatta University, a trainer, and consultant with over 15 years of experience in the wider field of Finance and Accounting. In addition, Charity is an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

She is an active member of the United National Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD’s) intergovernmental group of experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR), and a member of the African Regional Partnership on Sustainability Reporting and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) implementation across the African Continent.

In addition to teaching, she has consulted for various Private and Public sector firms in risk management, financial inclusion among others. Charity holds a PhD in Finance from Kenyatta University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi and Bachelor of Education (Accounting & Mathematics) from University of Nairobi. Charity serves the community by serving in school education boards as chair of Finance and academic committees.
