Speaker Bio

Cynthia is a self-driven researcher and consultant specializing in climate and ESG risks. She is also a member of the executive board of OWSD-Kenya, where she aims to foster research and collaborations focused on climate and ESG risks, as well as encourage women to pursue careers in STEM fields. She is the head of research and innovation at the ESG Taskforce formed by The Actuarial Society of Kenya (TASK) in conjunction with Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSD Africa) to drive and support the readiness of the financial sector in managing ESG risks and in supporting green finance.
