The 5th Annual Africa ESG, Impact Investing & Sustainable Finance Summit-Southern Africa forum which is part of our Africa series will be hosted on the 27-28 Feb 2025 in Cape Town, South Africa and this marks the third time the summit has been hosted in Cape Town. The Africa ESG summits are hosted annually in Southern, East and Central, West and North Africa under different banners in several South African and African cities bringing together local, continental and global thought leaders, experts, policy makers, institutional investors, researchers, impact investors, financial institutions, philanthropists, DFI’s, governments and the private sector to address climate related risks in different sectors, promotion and incorporation of ESG considerations into investment decisions, mobilisation and promotion of the deployment of capital into Impact Investing in the continent, championining sustainable finance initiatives, and creating awareness on impacts of climate change with the objective to lead the way towards promoting climate adaptation and mitigation.
