Sylvia Kithinji is a Partner at Ashitiva Advocates and the Head of the Corporate Commercial practice group with over 13 years’ legal practice experience. Sylvia has experiencing advising development finance institutions, sponsors, private equity funds and governments and government agencies on infrastructure projects, PPPs in Kenya and the region across various sectors including water, renewable energy, ports, and roads.

She has advised on a wide range of matters for these projects including project financing, joint venture structuring, PPPs, privately initiated investment proposals, concessions, policy and regulatory review and analysis, drafting and negotiating of project agreements, legal due diligence, project approvals and licensing.
